Adidas expects good profits for 2012 and China and Russia to be key markets for growth

Adidas CEO Mr Herbert Hainer expects a 50% increase in sales by 2015 and 50% of this increase to come from China, Russia and North America. Adidas expects these 3 countries to be the driver of growth over the next 3 years. During the first 9 months of 2011 North America grew by 14%, China 28% and Russia by 31% and in Other Bric countries such as Brazil there is expected to be excellent growth over the next few years with Brazil hosting the Football world cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016 . Adidas is continuing to invest heavily in these markets and improving its supply chain and retail distribution network across these countries.
Adidas Expects key growth drivers for 2012 will be the London Olympics and the Euro football championships in Poland and the Ukraine in 2012 as well. Adidas is very optimistic that its new range of products will help increase revenues and increase profits. Adidas expects its exciting range of Football related products such as new jerseys, boots and official footballs will be a great success in 2012 and beyond. Mr hainer states that Adidas will be brng out a product category concept every month in 2012 bring is sure to bring Adidas results. One product category that is growing rapidly is in Cycling with Adidas partnership with Sky helping to bring excellent exposure for the Adidas cycling range.
