In recent weeks it announced that it will spend $ 26.5 Billion Dollars on improving its ports such as increased dredging and to improve landslide access over the next 5 years . With this pledge of investment in its ports infrastructure its means investment will of has been increased by 17 times the amount of money invested in the next five years when compared to what has been spent over the last decade.

Improving Brazil's Infrastructure will benefit all industry but it's seen as particularly important to its Mining and Agricultural sector, as these are Brazil's largest export earners then any improvements will greatly benefit the whole of the Brazilian economy.
