Kverneland Group Manufacturing in Lipetsk

Kverneland Group is one of the very few western agricultural machinery producers having the Russian production certificate.

Kverneland Group Manufacturing Lipetsk main activities are today focusing on welding, assembling and painting Group’s machines like seeders, ploughs and cultibars for the Russian market.

The factory was set up in 2006 in Lipetsk, a medium sized city of  500.000 inhabitants, 450 km south of Moskow. Ideally located in the middle of the so named “black-earth” area, it also offers the advantage of a long industrial history. The region hosts the largest steel producers. During the last few years, Kverneland Group has been developing successfully a good relationship with several important local suppliers.

The factory employs an excellent team, with English & German speaking competences, trained in Kverneland’s European factories and familiar with Kverneland’s IT-system. This is a prerequisite to grasp the future market growth.

Kverneland’s own factory was set up in Russia to produce Kverneland Group’s machines to the Russian market. Further developments could be to also use Lipetsk as a logistic center for imports/exports.
